Is This A Unisex Product?

Yes, our Ayurvedic Cosmic Sutra hair oil is a unisex product. It can be used by both men and women.

How can I use this hair oil?

Take a small quantity of Cosmic Sutra hair oil onto your palm and apply it to your scalp. Now gently use your hands to apply oil to your mid-lengths and ends. Gently massage your scalp with fingertips following a circular motion. This will boost blood circulation in the scalp, facilitating the easy transfer of nutrients present in our oil to the roots. Leave on for at least 30 minutes. Our hair oil is non-sticky, so you can also keep it overnight. This will keep your hair and scalp moisturized and will also calm your nerves. Now wash the hair oil with our Nourish Mantra Biotin shampoo. For best results, use the hair oil 1-2 times a week.

Is it an Ayurvedic product?

How long should I leave the oil in my hair?

It is advisable to let the hair oil penetrate your scalp for at least 30 minutes and not less than that. You can also leave it overnight, but do not leave it on for more than 24 hours as your hair will start attracting dirt. In the case of dry and frizzy hair, it’s most beneficial when the oil is left in the hair overnight. This will keep your hair moisturized and soft.

Can I apply oil on wet hair?

Although there is no harm in applying the Cosmic Sutra Hair oil on wet hair, it is advisable to apply oil when your hair is dry. Massaging oil into wet hair should be avoided as wet hair tends to be prone to breakage and even gentle pulling and tugging can cause hair to fall. Water present in wet hair can repel the oil and restrict its deeper penetration into the roots.
